When we think of rhodochrosite, Colorado and South Africa typically come to mind first for well crystallized examples. Argentina, however, once produced an extensive find of stalactitic Rhodocrosite that was cut in to magnificent slices. Argentinian Rhodo may be the most widely represented in collections around the world for it’s accessibility to collectors of all levels. Like all prolific mineral finds, the best material is highly coveted. This is an outstanding slice with top color and perfect symmetry.
