Brucite

Location Coming Soon

11.5 cm

A rare mineral, redefined. Previously known as dull, grey-blue aggregates from South Africa and Pennsylvania, a recent discovery of Brucite in Pakistan now redefines the species. With fluorescent yellow color and lustrous spheres on matrix, pieces like this one have overtaken the throne for "best-of-species." Between 2016 and 2019 we sourced the finest of these Brucites directly from Baluchistan. Before then, these did not exist. Collectors now have the possibility to add a new, bright yellow mineral to the cabinet, one previously unimaginable.
Isolated spheres like this with top color remain exceedingly rare.
