These “unicorns” of fluorite collecting are from one distinct pocket found in Namibia circa 2008. The "Alien Eye" crystals formed with three generations of different colored fluorite: one red, one green and one colorless layer. In the best crystals, the result is a set of green diamond like “eyes” glowing from within the dark faces of the crystal. This one is unique from the find with complex etchings. pyramidal surface topography, and overlying eyes which glow from within.
